The Free Joy Experience is a joint healing venture between EbonyJanice’s The Free People Project and Thea Monyee’´s MarleyAyo; focused on spiritual justice, creating programming, curating content, and holding space for community building around racial healing through ancestral accountability and expanding white consciousness and imagination.

Liberation work is deeply rooted in the Black experience, and with it comes centuries of healing practices. Though these practices are intracultural, we can assist our allies with developing and spreading the use of healing practices by centering accountability and reconciliation. 

 

The group sessions include intensive workshops and guided interactions facilitated by Thea Monyee´and EbonyJanice. Because ancestral work often requires deep emotional labor, these sessions will always have pre-trained allies as participants and co-facilitators, ready to do the deep dive with individuals needing extra care, in safe space that supports us in continuing to grow in community and carry the healing work forward without emotional disruption.
